Tesco Jeans £3.00

£3.00 for a pair of jeans, not exactly a moan BUT, how the fuck can they sell jeans so cheaply !! I went in the local store and they had value jeans for £3.00 ! it can not make sense that people are being paid enough when something so expensive comes in so damn cheap.

I looked in the label to find the whereabouts that such jeans can be produced. I found no made in label. I would imagine China but there was no label as such.

They also had silk ties at £1.50, shirts for less then £5.00 etc. etc. I just can not believe that a company can sell clothing so cheap unless the labour is people that just dont know what a fair price for a days work is.

Problematic Petrol Prices...

Fuck Me, Nearly £1.20 for a litre of unleaded, and Christ knows how much for Diesel. It's absolutely disgusting, how does the government justify these prices when in the US it's at least half this price! It's getting beyond a joke now, credit crunch or no credit crunch. They say you don't really know you're in a trough until you reach the peak but let's face it everyone knows we're in one now. Bastard!

The thing is it's not just filling the car up that costs more now, as this affects everything! As we live on an island and all our farming, industry, production has slowly left these shores over the last century or so, we have to pretty much import everything, and of course that uses fuel of some sort.

So, consequently our food prices have gone up too! In fact, everytime I put my hand in my pocket, which I try to keep to a minimum, I think to myself, fuck me that's expensive.

Well we may as well get used to it, cos now the price is £1.20 a litre, in sure as hell aint's gonna be reduced anytime soon!

Evening, it's been a while. Right lets get straight to the point. Who the fuck makes up these random charges that you have to pay for what seems like anything these days. Connection fees, disconnection fees, admin fees, "I'm a big corporation, so I'm going to charge you what the hell I want, and there's nothing you can do about it" fees. Bastards. There's probably some miserable little fucker sat in a shiny office somewhere, who just randomly makes up a cost of a charge that takes I reckon only a mere fraction in actual resource to perform the action.

£26 pound to reconnect a phone that the rip-off bastard company charged the same amount to the previous occupant to have disconnected. It's a fucking con i tell thee!

I work for a company that clearly makes money from customers in selling them electrical goods. Now of course there is the ubiquitous delivery charge added when you purchase the said items, but it's not overly costly, or I don't think it is.

These companies that provide telecoms, gas, electricity, whatever, seem to have a license to print money!

Expiry Dates......

OK today being Sunday the "normal" family would have roast beef but then I'm a moaner and therefore not "normal" so I had scampi and chips with a side of beans. What the hell, today I witness whilst looking on the packet, a strange habit I know, and the expiry date had a time on it !!!!

Whats going to happen at the exact moment it hits 04.35 it goes bad? fucking joke

Taxi for Gaffney!

Do you remember that advert, I can't recall for what product it was and anyway I wouldn't give away free product placement on this blog. It was with Dean Gaffney from Eastenders and he was in a club. A lad approaches him and says "Oh I like all the stuff you've done on the tv, it would be really great if you just came over and said hello in a minute when my mates get here, they'd be really impressed". So a few minutes pass and this lad's mates turn up and Gaffney walks over and says Hello. The lads all look impressed and then the original kid says "How many times have I told you, Gaffney, not when I'm with my mates". A voice over then says "Taxi for Gaffney". It's a beauty.

Anyway, the subject of my post, taxi drivers, I fuckin hate them, the rip-off bastards! My mates were up for the weekend and we'd had quite a few bevvies and wanted to get to a club. We dropped the misses off at home as she'd had enough and then he proceeded to double back on himself and take us the long way round. He then had the cheek to charge us £7 for a £3 cab ride. Wanker! Anyway, it was fuckin freezing in the queue and they seemed to be operating a 6 out 1 in policy so we fucked it off and went to get a cab back home. Who'd have thought it the same bastard turned up again. Cold and wet as we were, we stupidly got in. He then took us home, which is about 1 minute closer to where the original cab started, and charged us £3! He even had the cheek to say "haven't I just picked you lot up a minute ago?" Yeah you have you cock, and how come the price has halved!

Scum footballer - wheres the justice?

Yet another example of a fucking crazy law. Not legal law though for a change, FA Law !

The above scummer is called Ashley Sestanovich, he has been charged and jailed for 8 years for his part in a robbery that went wrong and a man was killed.

Grays Athletic a non league football team terminated his contract before he was convicted,

Grays have been given 14 days by the FA to pay Sestanovich £14,000 for the five months up to his conviction.

He was jailed for eight years. Two other men were jailed for life for shooting a man dead during the raid.

An FA disciplinary hearing ordered Grays to pay Sestanovich five months' wages, in June, last year, after ruling they were in breach of FA regulations.

The club must also pay a £500 fine and the hearing's costs.

If they fail to do so, the south Essex club will be suspended from all football.

What the Fuck ! and after reading the following statement by the chairman Mike Woodward it makes even more of a farce. He played 20 mins of a pre season friendly and lied to them before being offered the contract.

The club claim that Sestanovich originally told them he was being held on remand for motoring offences, but once the nature of the charges became known they served him with 14 days' notice.

'Shot in cold-blood'

Grays chairman Mike Woodward said: "I am bitterly disappointed in the FA's judgment, all they seem to want to do is take money from football clubs.

"We are being forced to pay approximately £14,000 to a player who only had three training sessions and 20 minutes in a pre-season friendly due to his involvement in a heinous crime which saw a young father shot in cold-blood.

"Unfortunately my principles will not allow me to pay this money from either my own pocket, or from the club's, and the directors are of the same opinion.

"I feel sorry for the supporters of this club but I hope that you will back me on this decision."

The FA said because Sestanovich was arrested after he signed for Grays, the club were obliged to honour his contract until he was actually convicted of an offence, under contract law.

Sky HD

Why is it when I record something in HD, using Sky+, I cant watch it from the start (using play through the planner) while it is recording. It is a real pain. I wait 10 minutes to watch it and want or need to fast forward through the bloody adverts it wont let me as it stops, starts and then deems it un-watchable.

I know it is bound to be some bollocks to do with with encryption and write speed to the HDD but come on I just want to watch some TV........

I used to love this program, well location location, on Chanel Four but since they have started revisiting the past shows for updates it is worse then a bloody repeat. They spend 50 minutes replaying the old video and about 10 mins of an update. This week they even gave away the ending at the start by saying that they no longer had the pub and we had to sit through 50 mins of a show from 2003 (ish never checked) for a crap update that they have moved on now.
